Women have gathered for centuries in the ancient art of circles to share in the sacred bond of sisterhood. We come together to share our stories, our songs, our strength and our support. We laugh and cry and dance and pray as we heal our wounds and shed our shame.
Sister Circles are open to teens and young adults seeking the comfort and love of a group of gender fluid women. Groups begin four times through the year at the fall equinox, the winter solstice, the spring equinox, and the summer solstice.
Topics we may explore include: a sense of self that is free of labels, landing and loving the body we inhabit, boundaries and the need to please, sex and dating, social media and impact on identity, shame and secrets, cutting and regulation, drugs and alcohol, depression and anxiety, longing and belonging, nourishing our selves, and managing stress in these crazy turbulent times.
Activities we may engage in: Collaging, journaling, art therapy, poetry readings, sharing your story, re-writing your story, owning your voice, breaking the silence, singing, dancing, praying, playing, laughing, crying, screaming, dreaming.
We come together as wise beautiful women to create community, celebrate the feminine, and participate in the ancient ritual of circles.
